Wish Upon a Starfish is the entire top floor of a 1940s Tybee Island Cottage that has been newly renovated in 2017 which offers guests a relaxing experience while vacationing on Tybee. This cottage is a stunning mix of old Tybee with new awesome updates! The beachy decor and cool color palettes create such a fun living space. The traditional cottage style home features nicely furnished three bedrooms and two bathrooms in a quaint mid-island setting. The home is located on beautiful 2nd Avenue, which is Tybee Island's Bike path, so be sure to bring your own bicycles, or plan on renting them while visiting - This is the best way to see all of Tybee! Make sure to sit on the front porch and enjoy your cocktails as walkers, runners, and bikers stroll down a beautiful quiet street! It is the best Street on Tybee! The nearest beach access is only two and a half blocks away.


The newly reconstructed second-story front porch welcomes guests to Wish Upon a Starfish with a relaxing porch swing, a perfect place to put your feet up and take in the Tybee breeze. Inside, guests are welcomed to a rich, warm Tybee Island cottage feel with original heart pine-paneled walls and original hardwood floors. The open dining and living area are tastefully appointed with comfortable seating. The 60 inch smart TV is ready for your viewing pleasure. The dining table seats 6. The kitchen is fully equipped with all appliances and everything you will need for entertaining and sharing a meal with the family.

There are three bedrooms and 2 full baths. The first bedroom has a King bed and a flat-screen TV. The second guest room has two Queen Beds, to accommodate up to 4 guests and a flat-screen TV. There is a newly updated bathroom which has a beautiful vanity and a claw foot bathtub/shower for an authentic, rustic feel. The newly added third bedroom has a twin over a double bunk bed - perfect for kids. The brand new bathroom features a custom tile walk-in shower, all new fixtures and adjoining laundry area with all new high-efficiency washer and dryer. Just off the kitchen, guests can sit on the back deck, and enjoy morning coffee while planning your day's events. This cottage is nicely appointed and welcomes guests with a feeling of warmth and comfort.


There is an outside, ground level, private full bathroom with a hot and cold shower - which is shared by all guests of the property. There are 2 reserved off-street parking spaces for guest use and Wifi available. This home is pet-friendly with an additional fee.

Need more space? Wish Upon a Starfish Cottage is available to rent which will allow guests to rent the entire property (Wish Upon a Starfish, and Wish Upon a Little Starfish, the downstairs 2 bedroom apartment) and will offer guests a total of five bedrooms and four bathrooms, as well as two full kitchens. Perfect space for multi-family vacations or reunions.
